This Privacy Policy describes how Smaranam ("we," "us," or "our") handles your data. Smaranam is a focus and wellness reminder application developed by  Aarya Global Consultancy LLP (https://www.aaryaglobalconsulting.com).

1. 100% On-Device Data Storage (Zero Cloud Transmission)

Smaranam operates with absolute privacy. All information created within the application—including task names, custom intervals, alert types, messages, settings, and daily completion logs—is stored **locally and exclusively** on your physical device. 

- Data is saved in structured JSON files within the secure sandboxed storage allocated to the App by the operating system.

- We do not host remote databases, and we never transmit, synchronize, or back up your data to any external cloud servers.

- If you delete the application from your device, all saved data and logs are permanently and irreversibly erased.

2. Information Collection and Sharing

- No Personal Data Collected : We do not collect, store, or process any personal identifiers, names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, or location data.

- No Trackers or Telemetry : Smaranam contains zero trackers, third-party analytics software, ads, or marketing packages.

- Offline Functionality : The application operates entirely offline and does not require internet permissions to execute its focus engines or timers.

3. Operating System Permissions Used

To function as an active focus reminder utility, Smaranam requires the following device permissions:

- Exact Alarms / Alarm Manager: Required to schedule precise, drift-free background reminders that fire exactly when your breaks are due.

- Notifications: Needed to display visual reminder cards and buttons (`Done`, `Snooze 5m`, `Stop`) on your lock screen and notification shade.

- Vibration/Haptics: Used to provide tactile alert feedback for reminders.

These permissions are utilized solely to run the app's timers and alerts on your device. We do not use them to access other device features or collect background data.

4. Children's Privacy

Because we collect zero personal information from any user, Smaranam is fully compliant with children's privacy regulations, including COPPA and GDPR. We do not collect, request, or store any information from children under the age of 13.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Any updates to this Privacy Policy will be published directly within the updated App packages via the App Store and Google Play Store. Since we do not collect contact details, we encourage you to review this policy periodically within the App's settings panel.
