Rationale:
Small telescopes play a significant role in observational agility and global distribution. However, the era of working in isolation has passed; only by uniting our efforts can we maximize scientific contributions. This is especially true in the observation of transient objects, where the unpredictability of their appearance and rapid changes in brightness present unique challenges. For example, fast blue optical transients, fast radio bursts, supernova shock cooling phase, kilonovae, gamma-ray bursts, fast X-ray transients, and short timescale modulations in supernova light curve shapes etc. The central theme of this workshop is to explore how we can combine our strengths and more efficiently collaborate within a global observational network to achieve big sciences.
