My name is Imaan, and I offer Small Animal Pet Care services throughout the Kitchener-Waterloo area.
Leaving your pet with someone new can be a difficult decision, and it is important to find someone who is the right fit for your pet’s unique needs. As a 21-year-old university student with a lifelong passion for animals, I understand how important it is to provide pets with the same care, attention, and affection they receive at home.
Ever since I was young, I have been drawn to animals. Whether I was asking my parents to take me to farms and petting zoos or spending time with family pets, I was always looking for ways to be around animals. As I grew older, that passion continued to grow. I completed the Senior Vets in Training program through the Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society and volunteered at their summer camp for two consecutive years.
Over the years, I have cared for many different pets and currently own a Quaker parrot. I regularly pet sit for family and friends and have experience caring for a variety of small animals. My long-term goal is to pursue a career in veterinary medicine, and this business allows me to continue building valuable experience while doing something I genuinely love.
Small Animal Pet Care is my way of combining my passion for animals with my commitment to helping pet owners in our community feel confident that their pets are receiving safe, reliable, and compassionate care while they are away.
Here I have linked my resume if you are interested in further understanding my qualifications and background in this field
I am offering this service because I recognize that there is a major gap in our area. There are many places that offer dog and cat services but when I went out to look for something for my parrot ‘Bubbles’ I found that I couldn’t find anything reliable and in my price range. I have always left Bubbles with family or friends but I realized not everyone can have someone like that. I was afraid to leave Bubbles alone because I cared for him so much and in case I would be leaving him in the wrong hands. I decided to take this problem head on and resolve it so I am opening this service for everyone who feels they are stuck in the same situation. I promise you, your little friend will be in the best, loving and caring hands.
Now, I'm excited to share that my sister has joined me in this venture. With her shared love for animals and her gentle, responsible nature, we’re able to offer even more personalized and attentive care. Together, we promise your little friend will be in the best, most loving and caring hands.
