Hi, Im Stacey the owner of Small Town Hair – a cozy, home-based salon located right here in the heart of our small town of Richmond. 

I was born and raised in a small town, and I’ve always loved the sense of community and connection that comes with it. After years of learning, growing, and following my passion for hair, I decided to open my own home-based salon to bring a more personal, relaxed experience to my clients. I believe in the beauty of simplicity, supporting local, and helping people feel confident. Whether you’re here for a quick trim or a full transformation, my goal is to make you feel at home – because when you sit in my chair, you’re not just a client, you're part of the community.

My journey as a stylist began back in high school when I worked as a co-op student at a local hair salon. That experience sparked a real passion for the industry, which led me to take a hairstyling and aesthetics course in grade 11. From there, I pursued formal education in hairstyling and completed my apprenticeship at a family member’s salon, where I gained hands-on experience and confidence behind the chair. Wanting to grow even more, I took a position at a larger salon with a full team, where I could learn from other stylists and expand my skills. When the pandemic hit, I began offering hair services from home to close friends and family — and that’s where the idea for Small Town Hair truly started. Since then, I’ve poured my heart into growing my home-based salon and have recently built a bigger, more welcoming space to offer clients the best of both comfort and professionalism.
