If you go to any product page on Amazon about dog clothes, you will find an image guide where they show you how to measure your puppy, and thus, choose the corresponding size. But, since it can be confusing in some cases, let me explain it to you quickly and easily:
You should take the following 3 measurements of your puppy:
1 Neck

Use a tape measure to measure the circumference of the neck. I recommend leaving 1 or 2 fingers of space so that the garment is never too tight.
2 Chest

As in the previous step, you should measure the circumference of the chest. You should always do it from the widest part (just behind the front legs).
3 Back

Finally, measure the length from the neck to the beginning of the tail. Make sure your puppy is fully erect (not lying down or sitting).
Once you have these 3 measurements at hand, check the size image or specifications of the garment you want to buy.
In case the measurements are exactly in the middle of two sizes, always choose the larger one.
