ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  • All abstracts must contain original work that has not been published, in full, at the time of abstract submission.

  • Please download the abstract template and follow the format carefully. If the abstract template is not followed, revisions may be necessary.

  • Abstracts should contain introduction, research questions, methodology, results and conclusions. Abstracts will be reviewed by the conference scientific committee, who will decide on the relevance of the topic, presentation quality and adequacy to abstract submission requirements.

  • Abstracts must be submitted for consideration by April 20, 2021 via the registration form.

  • Abstracts must be between 200-250 words, with 5-8 keywords and 3-5 references.

  • Your submission should be in: English, French, German, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Russian or Spanish.

REQUIREMENTS FOR VIRTUAL PRESENTATIONS

Authors of the accepted papers can choose one the following modalities of presentation:

  • A Virtual oral presentation:

- Synchronous,

-Asynchronous.

  • A virtual poster presentation.

SYNCHRONOUS PRESENTATIONS

Authors will give a synchronous (live) 20-minute presentation that will be followed by a 5-minute discussion on ZOOM. All participants will be able to ask questions and make comments. The link to a Zoom room and all instructions will be provided in advance.

The recording of the presentations will be uploaded on the conference web site, and it will be accessible for all participants during and after the conference days.

ASYNCHRONOUS PRESENTATIONS

Authors who are not able to participate in the conference live can register for an asynchronous presentation. They will have to record their 15-minute presentation as a video or a Power Point presentation with voice over or a combination of any other creative methods of presentation.

Asynchronous presentations will be accessible for all participants during and after the conference.

The deadline to send the link to the uploaded asynchronous presentation is 20 May 2021.

REQUIREMENTS FOR POSTER PRESENTATIONS

Authors who choose to participate in the conference with a virtual poster presentation will send a PDF of the poster which will be available throughout the entire conference time. The authors will be expecting to get your questions by leaving them in comments of "padlet". The link to see the poster presentations will be shared only with the conference participants.

Authors of all conference presentations will receive an author certificate as well as all other conference material by e-mail after the conference.

Authors of all presentations are invited to publish their research in the scientific journal Sustainable Multilingualism, which is indexed in Scopus. Manuscripts are accepted all year round.
