Primary Uses Scientific Research - Your submissions contribute to documented wild rice species distribution Conservation Documentation - Data helps identify critical habitats and species locations Agricultural Research - Information supports ongoing research at the Faculty of Agriculture Educational Purposes - Submissions may be used in academic research and publications Data Sharing & Privacy Control Your location data will ONLY be shared according to YOUR privacy settings: Public - Visible to all app users and researchers Unlisted - Visible to approved researchers only Private - Visible only to you and site administrators 🔒 We do NOT sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

When Location is Collected Location data is collected ONLY when you explicitly submit a new wild rice location. Location is: ✓ Recorded when you use "Add Location" feature ✓ Captured when you use "Pick from Map" or GPS entry ✗ NOT tracked passively in the background ✗ NOT collected when app is not in active use Location Sharing & Exact Coordinates Exact GPS coordinates are generalized to approximate areas on public maps for conservation security Verified researchers can access exact coordinates if submission is marked "Unlisted" Private submissions are not shared with other users

Age Restriction The SL WildRice app is intended for users 13 years and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you are under 18, we recommend parental supervision.
