2020 kind of sucks. At least, it does for a lot of us. But you know what doesn't suck? Running! Read more below about how you can get involved with SLU Running Club no matter where you're at in the world right now! Can't wait to meet everyone!
Rules (bc Covid):
Runners will maintain at least 6 ft distance between each other at all times. Masks are not required while running UNLESS 6 ft distancing cannot be maintained.
Runners MUST bring masks in case social distancing is not possible while on a run. If a runner does not bring a mask, they cannot join the group on the run.
No more than 10 people per run, including run captains. Runners must like a message in the group chat before they can go, to be sure that no more than 10 runners are present at a run. Run captains will monitor this- if a run is “full,” then they will send out a message in the chat stating so.
If you learn that you need to quarantine/ isolate after attending a run, PLEASE TELL YOUR RUN CAPTAIN, OR AN EBOARD MEMBER.
We will alert other members who came to the run if we hear news that someone in your group needs to quarantine/ isolate.
Run captain will enforce covid policies.
Concerns regarding runs should be sent directly to an eboard member, or can be expressed to a run captain, and the run captain can go to eboard.
Or, submit concerns to this anonymous Google forms. We need you to keep each other accountable, and tell us if that isn't happening.

Teams compete against each other for the most number of points.
Standings are updated on our social media each week.
The team with the most points wins!
How to get points:
Each mile logged by a member counts as one point for their team.
Participate in competitions- winners get extra points!
Participation in events
Participation in team bonding (events for individual teams and for whole-running club)
What do you win?
Kind of depends. We're thinking maybe gift cards or something, but we'll see.
Also, bragging rights. Rub it in their faces (kindly). YOU ARE THE WINNER!
The experience of having fun and meeting new people no matter where you are in the world!
We'll switch the groups around so you can keep meeting new people and so you don't get stuck in a "bad group."
We are no longer accepting participants for this remote rc. Keep an eye out for our next one!
