I had made these clothing packs for my previous slugcat model (The Low-Poly Slugcat), but since they share the same armature, most of these should be compatible with the Slugcat DX too! There are some compatibility issues listed below.
Slugclothes pack #1 will have a DX version of its .unitypackage in the download files. this includes some small changes.
Slugclothes pack #2 will have a DX version of its .unitypackage in the download files. this includes major updated meshes to fit the new hands + feet that the Slugcat DX has.
None of the slugclothes have a "Slim" blendshape, so the clothes will look oversized if you make your Slugcat thin.
The meshes themselves don't match exactly with the slugcat DX, so expect there to be some clipping and for it to look a bit odd in some places.
The default shader for the slugclothes is VRChat Toonlit. If you'd want it to stylistically match, you would need to make the shader Poiyomi yourself.
All the clothes are compatible with the "Body Size" slider (Though will look a bit odd with the "Slim" side of the slider)
A new .psd + .clip file has been included in the gumroad for Slugclothes 2 which will have updated textures for the modified/remade meshes.
The following meshes had to be re-made to work with the DX model:
FOOTWEAR: Both Socks
HANDWEAR: Fingerless Gloves, Gloves
The following meshes had to be slightly modified to work with the DX model:
FOOTWEAR: Sneakers, Flip-flops, sandals, clogs
HANDWEAR: Bangles, Wristbands, Claws, Pawpads
NECKWEAR: Necklace, Collar, Bowtie
The setup for Slugclothes is for the most part the same, so the old tutorials should still be fine, but there are some extra steps for some accessories. Scroll to the bottom of the page to see those steps!
FOOTWEAR (Slugclothes 2)
Similar to activating the "Fur" blendshapes for the clothes, there is a new blendshape that shrinks the foot to fit into the shoes. It's called "DX Feet Shrink", and if you're putting shoes on your slugcat you need to turn this on.
Not just on the main body, but also on the socks if you're using them.
These are the values per shoe:
SNEAKER - 100
BOOTS - 100
CLOGS - 70
LIZARD SLIPPER - 50
(Doesnt count for Sandals or flip-flops.)
HANDWEAR (Slugclothes 2)
Nothing really needs to be done for the handwear, some small adjustments here and there, exception the Gloves. They had to be remade, and now there's a new blendshape for Claw Hands. Just turn the blendshape on the glove itself to 100!
CLOTHING (Slugclothes 1)
Small changes were made to make them a little better-fitting, as the gourmand blendshape is slightly different on the DX. Otherwise, mostly unchanged. (I still reccomend using the Slugclothes DX .unitypackage though)
NECKWEAR (Slugclothes 2)
Some small changes were made, but they're mostly the same.
HATS (Slugclothes 1)
Left unchanged.
ACCESSORIES (Slugclothes 1)
Left unchanged.
