The Evolution of the SLS For too long, investigators have been stuck with laggy, problematic, and flawed Kinect SDK software that was never meant to be used as a paranormal investigative tool. That original software is over a decade old and is essentially regarded as abandonware by Microsoft.

Because of this lack of ongoing support and the absence of real, scientifically-based software engineered specifically for the platform, the Kinect sensor has often been dismissed in the field as a failure or a novelty toy. How It Works: The DJI-Style Telemetry Link The SLS AI PRO Suite is not a standalone camera app, it is a sophisticated, two-part ecosystem. Much like how a high-end DJI drone beams telemetry data back to a handheld controller, our system splits the heavy lifting:

• 🖥️ The Host (AppyDroid SLS AI Pro V2.2 on PC): This is the brains of the operation. Installed on your Windows PC and connected to an Xbox 360 Kinect, this software handles all the intense AI processing, hardware depth calculations, and spatial audio rendering.

• 📱 The Remote (SLS LINK on Android): This is your tactical pocket dashboard. It connects to your PC over your local Wi-Fi, receiving the raw 3D data and video feed with zero lag. It actively reassembles the evidence on your phone screen, allowing you to monitor, control, and record from another room. Use 5GHZ Wifi for optimal data transfer and ensure you use the same WIFI Connection to the PC Host software. You can run this via Mobile Hotspot on location but would recomend the use of a Mobile router which will maximise range and transfer speed.

4. A Local Wi-Fi Network (Both the PC and the Phone must be connected to the same network to link up). Can also be used on your androids mobile hotspot feature.

PC App update from version 2.2.4 Now includes ECO Mode, This increases App performance by 78% by turning off the heavy 3D Point cloud data pipeline, Use this mode if you have issues with performance or Frame dropping when conencted to the SLS Link App. 

This mode is recomended for Windows tablet based SLS Rigs as they wont be able to proccess the 3D Depth pointcloud data pipeline. It also will help with budget android devices running the SLS Link App. Press Eco button to activate this feature, The connected SLS Link App will automatically adjust to the Host PC Apps prefrences.
