The Major Crimes Unit is a task force consisting of two branches: the Sheriff Investigations Division and the Strategic Response Team. Ran under a single command structure, the MCU goes head-on-head with the most dangerous criminals in the city. If you’re interested in working alongside your commanding officers in both investigations and tactical operations, the Major Crimes Unit is for you.

The Special Response Team is utilized in high priority scenes and tactical operations. Bank robberies, hostage situations, warrants, and more; SRT is always there for assistance, making sure the operation goes smoothly.
Sheriff Invesigative DIvision
Sheriff Invesigative DIvision
The Sheriff Investigative Division within MCU deals with the detective and investigations of SASO. They carry out undercover operations to gain information on the city's most dangerous criminals. Wherever you are, SID is always listening.
K9 Division
K9 Division
The K9 Division works closely alongside patrol units to aid efforts in catching the city's biggest criminals. Investigations and high-profile police work is made easier by our well-trained police dogs. You can choose to work with two types of canines: firearms and narcotics. If you love working with animals, and aiding in investigations, K9 is the division for you.
Weapons
Weapons
The weapon K9s are utilized in weapon investigations. The canine is able to detect illegal and prohibited weapons to assist officers in tracking them down. They can also detect them on a person(s) if they so happen to be carrying one.
Narcotics
Narcotics
The narcotic K9s are utilized in illegal drug investigations. The canine has been trained to detect where illegal drugs are, based on just a slight scent. This is very helpful when it comes to pulling someone over you suspect is intoxicated or during search warrant breaches.

Traffic Enforcement Division
Traffic Enforcement is a subdivision that specializes in vehicle pursuits and protecting the roads of San Andreas. There are multiple specializations within the subdivision: Motorbike Unit, which allows deputies to let the wind flow through their hair on our two motorcycles, HEAT, which is utilized to keep up with the fastest cars in the city, and CVE, to keep an eye on the heavier vehicles of the streets. If you are interested in high-speed pursuits, loyal people to call family, and help keep the roads of San Andreas a safer place: TED is perfect for you.

MBU is a certification in TED focused on quick, agile pursuits and tactical thinking. MBU houses two motorbikes: BMW 1200 RT & Harley-Davidson Streetglide.
HEAT
HEAT
HEAT is a certification in TED focused on capturing the fastest criminals of San Andreas, and making sure the highways are safe. HEAT houses one vehicle: Dodge Challenger.
CVE
CVE
CVE is a certification in TED focused on the commercial and heavy vehicles of San Andreas. CVE houses one vehicle: Dodge Ram.
