As the Sheriff's Office of San Andreas it is our sworn duty to protect the lives and property of each and every man, woman, and child within our jurisdiction, acting with the utmost professionalism and courtesy to do our due diligence in safeguarding the state. Our deputies aim for between 6 and 10 hours patrolling each week, with our most proactive deputies often going above and beyond. Our deputies' responsibilities involve a wide variety of community well-being and peace-keeping duties, including, but not limited to, investigating stolen vehicles, missing persons, and traffic enforcement. We ensure our deputies have the highest level of training they can by offering many additional training courses and specializations in the form of subdivisions - which allow for a deputy to pursue a much more specialized career within the Sheriff's Office, such as a Detective in our Major Crimes Unit, and K9 deputy in our K9 Division, or a Motorcycle Unit in our Traffic Enforcement Division.

The Major Crimes Unit is a task force consisting of two branches/specializations: Investigations and Tactical Operations. Ran under a single command structure, the MCU goes head-on-head with the most dangerous criminals in the city. If you’re interested in working alongside your commanding officers in both investigations and tactical operations, the Major Crimes Unit is for you.
Traffic Enforcement is a subdivision that specializes in vehicle pursuits and protecting the roads of San Andreas. There are multiple specializations within the subdivision: Motorbike Unit, which allows deputies to let the wind flow through their hair on our two motorcycles, HEAT, which is utilized to keep up with the fastest cars in the city, and CVE, to keep an eye on the heavier vehicles on the streets. If you are interested in high-speed pursuits, loyal people to call family, and help keep the roads of San Andreas a safer place: TED is perfect for you.
The K9 Division works closely alongside patrol units to aid efforts in catching the city's biggest criminals. Investigations and high-profile police work is made easier by our well-trained police dogs. You can choose to work with two types of canine: firearms and narcotics. If you love working with animals, and aiding in investigations, K9 is the division for you.
