This privacy policy explains what data is processed when you use the Slotlite app, for what purpose, and what rights you have.
### 3. Data Processing in the App
#### 3.1 Local App Data
The app stores the following information locally on your device:
- driver names and statistics
- track names and lengths
- race results, lap times, rankings, and race history
- app settings such as language, theme, and sound options
This data is not sent to us.
Legal basis: contract performance under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
#### 3.2 Bluetooth
The app uses Bluetooth Low Energy to connect to compatible slot car hardware.
Required permissions:
- Android 12 and newer: `BLUETOOTH_CONNECT`, `BLUETOOTH_SCAN`
- Android 11 and older: `BLUETOOTH`, `BLUETOOTH_ADMIN`, `ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION`
The location permission on older Android versions is used only because Android requires it for Bluetooth scanning. Slotlite does not determine or store your location.
Legal basis: contract performance under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
#### 3.3 Advertising via Google AdMob
Free users may see advertising via Google AdMob.
Before ads are requested, the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform to collect consent where required by law. Depending on region, consent status, and Google settings, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.
Google may process data such as:
- advertising ID
- IP address
- device and app information
- ad interaction and performance data
Purpose: ad delivery, ad measurement, fraud prevention, and, where permitted, ad personalization.
Legal basis: consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR where required.

### 4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data.
Data may be processed by:
- Google AdMob, if you use the free ad-supported version
### 5. International Transfers
Google may process data outside the European Union, including in the United States, under Google's applicable transfer mechanisms.
### 6. Your Rights
You may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, data portability, and withdrawal of consent where applicable.
You can also:
- delete local app data in the app or Android settings
- uninstall the app
- reset or restrict advertising preferences in your Google/Android settings
### 7. Right to Lodge a Complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority regarding our processing of your data.

Slotlite is a general-audience app and is not specifically directed to children under 13.
