Junior Project Assistant

Mr. Sarthak is zoologist and a PhD candidate from Saurashtra University, Rajkot. During his undergraduate studies, he had the opportunity to conduct research on Avifaunal diversity in Kheralu town, which further ignited his passion for avifauna. Although his initial interest was in mammals, his Bachelor's research introduced him to the field of avifauna. This exposure encouraged him to pursue a Master's degree, during which he worked on the denning ecology of Sloth bears under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Nishith Dharaiya at the Wildlife and Conservation Biology Research Lab, Department of Life Sciences, Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University. Currently, He is serving as a Junior Project Assistant in sloth bear conservation project. Through his work, he aspires to make meaningful contributions to the understanding and conservation of wildlife.
