Capacity Building

For a better understanding and enhancing the present scenario of the practices of conservation, it is important to keep the forest staff and early-stage conservation professionals updated. For this, several workshops for forest field staff and training for the early-career conservation professionals across India are being organized by the foundation. These training and workshops build up the critical thinking of the front-line staff and researchers and inculcate the advancement in conservation research. Moreover, these programs are being instrumental to create the community of practice for sloth bear conservation in India. Till today, we have conducted three trainings and workshops participated by 80 forest field staff and 40 young researchers and conservation professionals.
