PhD in Chemistry Education (USP), currently a professor at UFABC. Post-doc at Curtin University in Australia. More than 20 years of experience in Basic Education. I coordinated the Graduate Program in Teaching and History of Science and Mathematics (PEHCM). Master's/doctoral supervision at UFABC -PEHCM (education)/CTQ Science and Technology - Chemistry (chemistry education), collaborating at UNIFESP (education). National and international partnerships with South Africa, Lithuania, and Australian researchers. The main research interest envolves Metacognitive strategies and approaches with neuroscience, Inquiry-based learning, Inquiry-Based Chemistry Education., Drawings, Deaf Education, Teacher Education.. Member of IUPAC and SBEnQ board. Coordination of scientific projects FAPESP/CNPq, CNPq Productivity Fellow.
