SLNNY, School Librarians of Northern New York, is an official Region V affiliate to the New York Library Association's Section of School Librarians (NYLA/SSL). SLNNY covers the areas of northern New York State served by the Franklin-Essex-Hamilton BOCES School Library System and the St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES School Library System . School Library professionals from Clinton-Essex-Warren-Washington (CVES) and Jefferson-Lewis School Library Systems are welcome as members and at all SLNNY events as well.
Membership is composed of practicing and retired school librarians, library aides and assistants, and library school students. SLNNY meets at least twice annually, offering a combination of peer-networking, professional development, good food and fun.
