FIRST® Robotics (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a global non-profit organization that prepares high school students for the future by running the ultimate "sport for the mind." Far more than just a robot-building contest, the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) challenges teams to operate like real-world tech start-ups under tight deadlines and limited resources. 

Every January, a brand-new game challenge is revealed, kicking off an intense season where students work alongside professional mentors to design, CAD, and build a robot from scratch. What truly sets FIRST apart, however, is its culture of Gracious Professionalism® and Coopertition®. It’s a community where teams fiercely compete on the field but openly share tools, parts, and advice in the pits, ensuring that everyone learns, grows, and succeeds together.
