Chris and his wife, Stacy are starting the process of taking over the Scrip program for SAMBA. There has been discussion about offering a Scrip fundraising meeting in the new year to encourage more families to take part for the upcoming trip year. The next trip is slated for two years from now (2025-26), but we won't know anything about dates or destinations until about a year in advance. However, our 7th graders will not be eligible for the next trip, as they will only be freshmen. The trips are only open to 10-12 graders because those are the grades in the marching band, So, the current 5th, 6th and 7th graders will be eligible for a music trip when our 7th graders are Seniors. I hope that answers your questions.

Update on the Scrip fundraising program managed by SAMBA. The SAMBA board recently voted to give all students who sign up for the SAMBA scrip program 100% of the proceeds (from 12/1/24 - November 2025) to try to encourage more parents to use this free fundraising opportunity for their Hawaii trip. This could also be started being used by our 6th - 8th grade parents as well if they want to start fundraising early with their high school trip someday.  See the attached letter with all information about this!
