Which file formats are supported?
Which file formats are supported?
SlideCue Teleprompter supports PDF and PowerPoint (.pptx) files. Legacy .ppt files are not supported. Please convert them to .pptx or PDF before importing.
How are PowerPoint speaker notes used?
How are PowerPoint speaker notes used?
Speaker notes are extracted locally and used to prepare the teleprompter script. You can edit the script without modifying the original speaker notes or PowerPoint file.
Can I import files from OneDrive or iCloud Drive?
Can I import files from OneDrive or iCloud Drive?
Yes. Use the system document picker to select files from Files, iCloud Drive, OneDrive, and other installed document providers.
Does the app upload my presentations?
Does the app upload my presentations?
No. Presentations, speaker notes, scripts, thumbnails, and timing settings are processed and stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded for processing.

Open the saved presentations list and delete the presentation there. This removes only SlideCue Teleprompter’s locally stored copy and related data. Your original file in Files, iCloud Drive, or OneDrive is not deleted.

The app extracts slide text and speaker notes for teleprompter use. Some complex PowerPoint content—such as animations, embedded media, uncommon fonts, or advanced visual effects—may not be reproduced exactly.

When enabled, the script color changes according to the planned time for the current slide. It helps you see whether your spoken progress matches the schedule.

Open a PDF or .pptx file in Files, tap Share, and select Add to SlideCue. You can also import the file directly inside the app.

If a file cannot be imported:
Confirm that it is a PDF or modern .pptx file.
Make sure the file has finished downloading from your document provider.
Try saving a new copy of the file and importing it again.
Restart the app and retry.
If the problem continues, contact support with the app version, device model, iOS or iPadOS version, and file type.
Do not send confidential presentation files unless specifically requested.
