I have small hands, too - and not terrific grip/arm strength either. That said, I've often been surprised at how many factors go into how "comfortable" a gun is for me - yes, the width of the grip, but also the recoil, the grippiness/stickiness, and the ergonomics. (For instance, for whatever reason, even a double stack with a curved backstrap fits into my hand sooo much more comfortably, it's amazing). Then you've also got guns like the M&P series (I believe?) that has the modular style grips where you can pop in larger or smaller parts to adjust to hand size. And, of course, you have just slimmer grips you can buy for 1911's for instance. It's pretty dizzying if she's new to this (is she?).

My advice is have your wife go to one of the meetings/open shoots of either The Well-Armed Woman (TWAW) or Second Amendment Women (SAW). Each organization has more than one chapter in the state - between the 2 they're really all over NJ. She will be able to go there (and pretty sure you can go as a non-member at least the first time) and have an entire row of ports filled with guns that women have chosen for themselves (many of whom also have small hands). She can go to each port - pick the gun up, shoot it, see how it feels, etc. She may even want to hit a couple of different chapter meetings. After that process, she'll probably have tried at least 20+ guns and will likely have developed a shortlist of options.

CZ-75 or CZ-P01. Have her hold one of both.

Erogonomically CZs are the bees knees (I don't know what that means but it rhymes and sounds good).

But seriously, CZs are some of the most ergonomically pleasing guns areound. The 75 is larger and steel framed. Helps soak up some of the recoil. The P01 is a little smaller and aluminum-framed.

Both are excellent pistols and tack drivers.

For small handed people I know who have had grip size and trigger reach issues, the full size S&W M&P with the small grips seems to work well for them. I'd put all the full size guns with modular grips for ergonomics and metal mags with them set up for the smallest grip size. The reality is that a double stack 9mm magazine is not particularly girthy.

This is not a hard concept to grasp. Regardless of the names continually evolving for different types of swords in the period, there were tapered single-hand swords and then there were rapiers (hence, the new methods of civilian fencing that developed in the 16th century). The weapons are not identical and do not perform or handle identically. This is self-evident in handling original specimens and in test-cutting with modern reproductions of each type. Military and civilian blades of radically different cross-sectional profiles are simply not synonymous. They cannot all be employed as some foil/saber hybrid. Arguing that they do is an astounding display of idiocy and ignorance. The whole idea is simply that there was a new slenderer, tapered, single-hand sword blade becoming popular that was not intended or suited for military use and which emphasized thrusts. These weapons eventually grew so slender that they lost all cutting capacity as they developed a particular method of counter-thrusting use. Oddly, despite the sometimes view that all slender Renaissance swords and rapiers are essentially the same, it is not generally claimed that rapiers and later smallswords are identical even though many smallswords were merely rapier blades shortened and given different hilts. It makes even less sense then to argue that blades of radically different cross-sectional profiles are somehow synonymous.

One really adverse attribute that all 28-gauge shotguns share is the deplorable fact that shells for them are ridiculously expensive. Another is that affordable 28-gauge shotguns are rare. Weatherby, however, has just closed that argument against the classic quail caliber resoundingly with the new Weatherby SA-08 Deluxe.

The Weatherby SA-08 Deluxe 28 gauge is lightweight, only 5.5 pounds, so it's easy to tote through the grouse woods all day long. It avoids the whippiness common to very light shotguns, courtesy of a weight-forward balance, yet the fore-end is slender and long. The grip is open yet supportive.

The Mossberg 500 Pump Action Shotgun is one of the most popular home defense shotguns on the market. Joseph Von Benedikt shows his custom 500 and how well it shoots. Make sure to watch till the end. Who knew wild turkey's were so stupid!?

The HYPE 7.4v 1100mAh Stick Very Skinny Thin type Li-Po Battery for airsoft guns. A very slender/small long cell Lithium Poly stick (LiPo) battery that fits in a ton of airsoft guns that require a longer thin cell battery. This is a 1000mAh with a 20C continuous output (25C burst), which is plenty of amperage power for upgraded guns. Universal fitting plug is native T-Plug (deans style) but also includes a tamiya adapter.

A quick note about our returns policy: Airsoft guns are considered a hobby-grade, electronic product. Airsoft products are not consumer grade toys. These are susceptible electronic devices that can easily be damaged without proper care. However, to keep our customers happy, we have the following exceptions to the all sales final policy:

Gun Warranties: Guns are fully warrantied directly through the manufacturer on ALL guns. Umarex, G&G, Valken, ASG and others all have extended warranties for 30 days - 1 year duration depending on the item. Please check with the manufacturer on the warranty for defects. Airsoft Atlanta does not cover returns/warranties for guns with manufacturer defects.

For issues with any guns within warranty of that product purchased you must contact the Manufacture directly.

In-Store Retail Sales Exchange/Return Policy: No Returns. All sales are final.

Slender thin arrows blown through modern blowguns can cause serious injuries. In this paper we present some data regarding the terminal ballistics of such an arrow when blown by a young male who had no previous experience with the weapon. The penetration depth into wood was similar to that of an arrow fired from a pistol-crossbow. Further, the blowgun arrow could pass through more than 7 mm of porcine bone. The velocities at a distance of 2 m from the blowgun of three different types of arrows having weights of 1-1.6 g and diameters between 1 and 5 mm were between 22 and 32 m/s, giving an energy of 0.3 to 0.6 J. When blown from a blowgun, these slender modern arrows can thus penetrate human skin and even the cranial bone of a child and cause serious injury.

Western slender glass lizards are the only Oklahoma lizards lacking limbs. They can be distinguished from all snakes by the presence of eyelids, external ear openings at the posterior end of the head, and deep folds on the lateral surfaces of the body. Juveniles and subadults are distinctly striped, with a mid-dorsal black stripe, three black stripes above the lateral fold, and two broken black stripes below the lateral folds. The underside of the body is cream-colored with no pattern. Large adults lose much of the striping on the anterior part of the body, but retain the lateral stripes on the posterior two-thirds of the body.

Large adult western slender glass lizards can reach just over ten inches in snout to vent length and about 33 inches in total length. Many individuals have regenerated tails so that the ratio of tail to body length is reduced.

Western slender glass lizards occur through much of Oklahoma, being absent from only the panhandle and the very western part of the state. In North America, the west-east distribution extends from western Kansas to central Indiana and north-south from southern Canada to southern Texas.

Similar to some of the skinks, particularly the Great Plains skink and southern prairie skink, western slender glass lizards are difficult to observe in the field. Most often, they are observed basking on roads in early spring or late fall.

"On a windy day, there were literally these sounds almost like guns going off. It was loud creaking and then a 'Pop! Pop! Pop!' So I called it snap, crackle, pop," said Bonnie Schnitta, founder and CEO of the New York-based acoustical consulting firm SoundSense, recalling what she heard in the first "pencil tower" she worked on in 2016.

The buildings are perfectly safe, said Schnitta, but such noises can disturb and frighten residents. In November, at a meeting of the Acoustical Society of America in Seattle, Schnitta presented what she and her team have learned from solving sound problems in slender skyscrapers. The key, she said, is that everything must be flexible enough to move when the wind makes the whole structure sway and twist. e24fc04721
