This Privacy Policy explains how SleepNote (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.

Information Collection & Use

SleepNote is built with privacy as a core principle. All data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to external servers.

Data Stored Locally

SleepNote stores the following information using local database storage:

• Sleep entries (bedtime, wake time, duration, and quality ratings)

• Personal notes and observations added to sleep entries

• App preferences and settings (such as theme selection)

• Statistical calculations derived from your sleep data

This data remains exclusively on your device and is never uploaded to cloud services or shared with third parties.

Permissions

SleepNote may request the following device permissions:

Storage Permission

Used to save sleep data locally within the app’s private storage. This data is not accessible to other applications.

Internet Permission

Required only for optional in-app donation features. No sleep data or personal information is transmitted over the internet.

No Personal Information Collection

SleepNote does not collect, store, or process personally identifiable information, including:

• Name, email address, or contact details

• Device identifiers or advertising IDs

• Location data

Third-Party Services

In-App Purchases

SleepNote uses Google Play Billing for optional donation features. All transactions are processed by Google in accordance with their privacy policy. SleepNote does not access or store payment information.

No other third-party services, analytics tools, or advertising networks are used.

Data Security

Sleep data is stored securely in the app’s private storage using industry-standard local database encryption. This data cannot be accessed by other apps and cannot be transmitted without physical access to your device.

Data Retention & Deletion

All data remains on your device until you choose to delete it. You may:

• Delete individual sleep entries within the app
  
  

• Remove all data by uninstalling SleepNote
  
  

Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all locally stored data.

Children’s Privacy

SleepNote does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. The app is intended for general audiences and contains no age-restricted content.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted within the app and on the app store listing. The “Effective Date” above reflects the most recent revision.
