When you are having broken sleep and feeling overwhelmed, it can feel like the days roll into one, and the nights never end. It can help to focus on the fact that this will pass. It may be tough now, but your baby will start sleeping for longer and so will you.

And some research suggests that after about 60, we adapt and learn to function a little better on a little less sleep: One small study comparing women ages 20 to 30 with those ages 55 to 65 found that the older group did better on a battery of tests of motor skills after 3 nights of sleep restriction. All this points to online platforms facing sleepless nights since any online platform that tries the quiet life of monopoly risks catastrophe.
