Sleep Better
Insomnia* among Young Adults
Insomnia* among Young Adults
To address the issue of insomnia among young adults, we have initiated a project focused on enhancing sleep quality. We chose this topic due to the observation that many young adults are grappling with significant sleep quality challenges, attributed to factors such as life pressures, irregular sleep patterns, and excessive screen time.
These challenges not only impact their physical and mental health but also directly affect their work efficiency and learning capabilities, thus adversely impacting their overall quality of life. However, in the face of insomnia, many young adults lack a deep understanding of its underlying causes and effective strategies for improving sleep quality.
*Insomnia: a common sleep disorder. People who suffer from insomnia may have trouble falling asleep, staying asleep, or getting good-quality sleep (National Institutes of Health, 2024).
