"Ag Day On The Hill at Prairie View A&M University has a long and storied history of more than 35-years as an event for agriculture producers and members of the community to get an on-campus, first-hand experience with the ag researchers, program specialists, and other ag professionals within the College of Agriculture Food and Natural Resources (CAFNR).
Averaging more than 300 participants, Ag Day On The Hill is held annually, with the exception of its pause from 2020 to 2022, and has evolved over the years, giving participants a new, timely, and relevant experience each time."

The Waller County Fair Association is a charitable tax exempt 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The mission of the Waller County Fair Association (WCFA) is to promote a wholesome and productive lifestyle for our youth. The WCFA is a volunteer organization. Each year we appoint our board of directors and work with many members of the community to help produce our programs and events.

On March 15th, the Small Landowner Carbon Collaborative (SLCC) team hosted an educational outreach event in Center, TX. The purpose of the event was to spread knowledge of the different carbon opportunities available to landoweners. The SLCC team hosted this event in conjunction with the Texas A&M Forest Service and the East Texas Heirs’ Property Initiative for attendees (20+ landowners) to help provide access to resources.
