This Privacy Policy applies to the SlayDay mobile application ("Application") developed by Mak ("Service Provider") and made available as a free service. By using the Application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information Collection and Use

To use the Application, users are required to sign in using an email or supported third-party authentication (e.g. Google). Upon signing in, we collect and store the following personal information:

This information is used to personalize your experience and enable cloud-based data sync.

Automatic Cloud Backup (Firestore)

All user-generated content, such as checklists, Pomodoro sessions, events, and uploaded JSON files, is automatically and securely backed up to Google Firebase Firestore as long as the user is logged in.

Backup is mandatory and ensures that your data remains secure and accessible across devices. This backup helps prevent data loss in case the app is uninstalled or the device is changed.

The data is associated with your unique user ID and is not accessible to other users.

Uploaded Files

You may upload JSON files to import or export app data. These files are either processed locally or securely stored under your authenticated account in the cloud. We do not access or use these files for any purpose outside the intended feature.

Third-Party Services

The Application uses third-party services that may collect limited data for functionality. These services include:

Data Sharing

If you wish to delete your data or account, you may contact us at slayday012@gmail.com. We will respond to requests in a reasonable time and permanently delete your account-related data from our servers.

Children

The Application is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Security

We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data. All backups are encrypted and tied to your user account. Access is controlled by Firebase Authentication and Firestore Security Rules.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated occasionally. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Continued use of the app after updates indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
