Summary: SlabCraft is designed with an offline-first architecture for construction contractors, builders, and tradespeople. We do not harvest, sell, or transmit your jobsite measurements, estimates, client names, or financial calculations to any remote server.
This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which SlabCraft: Concrete Calculator ("we", "us", or "the application") handles information collected from users of the mobile application on Android and iOS.
No User Accounts: No registration, login, username, or passwords required.
No Precise Location: We never access GPS or location hardware.
No Contact Harvesting: We do not scan or read your address book or personal phone media.
No Cloud Synchronisation of Estimates: All your calculations, custom pricing, and quote archives reside strictly on your local device storage.
Any company details you voluntarily enter in the Contractor Settings (such as Company Name, Phone, License Number, custom logo graphic, and baseline material rates) are stored exclusively in your device's isolated application sandbox. This information is used solely to generate client-ready PDF proposals on your explicit demand.
Storage & Media: Requested only when you explicitly select a contractor logo from your photo gallery or save an exported PDF estimate to your device files.
Share & Printing: Employs standard operating system sharing dialogs to let you export or message PDF quotes via your preferred applications (e.g. WhatsApp, Email, System Print).
SlabCraft displays non-intrusive advertisements served by Google AdMob (Google LLC) to fund ongoing maintenance and free access to civil engineering tools.
To serve contextual and personalized ads and detect invalid impressions, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically process certain technical data:
Google Advertising Identifier (GAID on Android / IDFA on iOS).
Device model, manufacturer, and operating system build.
Coarse IP-derived geolocation (country and metropolitan level).
Ad engagement statistics, latency, and crash diagnostic metrics.
Strict Partitioning: SlabCraft never associates advertising identifiers with your internal job calculations, project scopes, client names, or financial figures.
Your Ad Choices: You can reset or opt out of interest-based advertising at any time through your device settings: Android Settings > Google > Ads > Reset or Delete Advertising ID, or via Google Ads Settings.
While SlabCraft implements American Concrete Institute (ACI) standards and geometric formulas with ASTM C94 manufacturing tolerances, jobsite conditions (subgrade compaction, formwork deflection, and placing spillage) can cause variances in actual concrete volume required. Contractors are advised to maintain a 5%–15% waste buffer.
Because all contractor data is kept locally in the app's private sandbox, you retain absolute ownership. You may erase all stored information and saved quotes instantly by clearing the app data in your phone's Application Settings or by uninstalling the application.
