To provide quality professional development to school librarians and enhance the development of libraries and library programs that inculcate a reading culture, competency, and lifelong learning

Objectives

To promote the growth of school libraries and the integration of school library programmes into the instruction and curriculum of all Kenyan schools.
Foster a sense of community among school librarians in Kenya and internationally, and strengthen ties with other professionals and stakeholders working with children and youth.
To encourage research in the field of school librarianship and the actionable integration of its findings with key stakeholders.
To provide information regarding programmes and resources for children and youths in Kenya and internationally community.
To initiate and coordinate continuous professional development activities, conferences, and other projects in the field of school librarianship and information services.
