SriUI Launcher is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our Android home screen launcher application handles user information.
By using SriUI Launcher, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. SUMMARY OF PRIVACY PRINCIPLES
SriUI Launcher is built with a privacy-first architecture:- No Personal Data Collection: We do not collect, track, store on remote servers, or transmit any personally identifiable information.- Offline Application: SriUI Launcher operates completely locally on your physical device. We do not maintain any cloud servers, user accounts, or tracking services.- No Data Selling or Sharing: We do not share, sell, or disclose any user data to third parties, advertisers, or analytics providers.
2. INFORMATION PROCESSED LOCALLY ON YOUR DEVICE
SriUI Launcher accesses certain system resources strictly on your local device to function as a home screen replacement:
A. Installed Applications ListSriUI Launcher reads package names and icons of installed applications using standard Android system APIs to construct your App Drawer, display home screen shortcuts, and launch apps. This information is processed strictly in-memory on your device and is never sent over any network.
B. System WidgetsSriUI Launcher hosts system widgets (such as clocks, weather, and calendars) on your home screen. Layout configurations and widget parameters are saved exclusively in private app storage on your physical device.
C. Wallpaper and Media AccessSriUI Launcher accesses system wallpapers or custom images selected by you from your device gallery to display as your home screen background. Selected images remain on your local storage and are never uploaded anywhere.
D. User Layout PreferencesSettings such as grid size, dock border radius, glass opacity, shadow effects, and icon positions are saved locally in private app preferences on your device.
3. ANDROID PERMISSIONS AND RATIONALE
SriUI Launcher requests only standard Android permissions necessary to operate as a launcher:
QUERY ALL PACKAGES: Required on Android 11 (API level 30) and above to list installed apps in your App Drawer.
BIND APPWIDGET: Required to host and display standard Android widgets on your home screen pages.
SET WALLPAPER: Allows changing your home screen wallpaper directly from app settings.
READ MEDIA IMAGES / READ EXTERNAL STORAGE: Allows selecting custom wallpaper images from your photo gallery.
EXPAND STATUS BAR: Enables swipe gestures to open system notification and quick settings panels.
ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE (BIND_ACCESSIBILITY_SERVICE): SriUI optionally uses the Android AccessibilityService API strictly to provide a "Double Tap to Lock Screen" gesture via the performGlobalAction(GLOBAL_ACTION_LOCK_SCREEN) system call. This allows locking the screen without disabling biometric (Fingerprint / Face ID) unlock. SriUI does NOT use the Accessibility API to read screen content, monitor keystrokes, track user behavior, or collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Using this service is 100% optional and only activated if explicitly enabled by the user in Accessibility Settings.
4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND ANALYTICS
SriUI Launcher contains zero third-party tracking, analytics, or telemetry SDKs (such as Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, Flurry, or Mixpanel).
SriUI Launcher contains zero advertisements and does not integrate Google AdMob or any third-party ad networks.
5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
SriUI Launcher does not collect or request any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app is fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play Families Policy.
6. DATA SECURITY
All application preferences and layout configurations remain securely in sandboxed private storage on your device (/data/data/com.tpngames.sriui/). Uninstalling SriUI Launcher automatically removes all associated local app preferences.
