Skyward Stack Privacy Policy
Effective date: 7 October 2026
Online version: https://sites.google.com/view/skywardstackprivacypolicy
This policy explains what information the game Skyward Stack ("the game") handles, why, and what choices you have. The game is published by THE LOCKEY ESCAPE ROOM LTD ("we", "us").
Summary
• The game shows no ads and has no in-app purchases and no accounts.
• Your progress and settings are stored only on your device.
• The Android app uses Google Firebase Analytics and Google Ads measurement to collect app usage statistics and measure our own campaigns.
• The web version of the game sends no data at all.
Information stored on your device
The game saves your level progress, stars, best scores and settings (sound, vibration and reduced motion) in the app's local storage on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes it.
Information collected (Android app only)
The Android app sends the following technical and gameplay usage information to Google Analytics for Firebase. Google may also use it to measure the results of our own Google Ads campaigns:
• Which levels you start, finish or fail, stars and scores, game milestones (for example your first completed level, the number of completed levels, and whether you come back the next day), screens you open, session length, app version, device model, operating system version, language, and approximate country (derived from your IP address, which is not stored).
• A random app instance ID and your device's advertising ID, so that Google can tell whether you installed or played the game after seeing one of our ads. Records are not linked to your name or email.
Technical and regional information (Android app only)
To operate the Android service, we process technical and regional information, including your IP address and country information associated with your device's mobile service. We use this information to provide and maintain the service, manage regional availability, and help detect, prevent and address misuse, fraud or technical issues.
This operational processing is separate from optional gameplay analytics. It does not involve reading your phone number, SIM serial number, subscriber identifier or precise location.
Technical service providers may process connection information on our behalf to support these functions. We keep short-lived lookup caches and limited diagnostic records for service operation and troubleshooting.
What we do not collect
• Your name, email address, phone number or contacts.
• Precise location, photos, files, microphone or camera data.
• Anything for showing you ads: the game shows no ads, and we do not use your data to personalise ads or to target you with ads.
• Payment information. There is nothing to buy.
Why we use this information
We use usage statistics to understand which levels are too hard or too easy and to improve the game, and to measure how well our ads for the game work (for example, how many installs and completed levels come from an ad campaign), so we can spend on the campaigns that work. We do not sell this information, do not use it to personalise ads, and do not combine it with other data about you.
Your privacy choices
Depending on your device and Google settings, you can reset or delete your advertising ID and manage Google privacy controls. You can also contact us using the details below with privacy requests.
Service providers and international transfers
Firebase and Google Ads are provided by Google LLC and Google Ireland Limited, who process the data on our behalf. Advertising agencies that run our campaigns may see aggregated campaign reports (for example numbers of installs), not data about you personally. Google may process data on servers outside your country, including in the United States, under safeguards such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses. Google's privacy information: https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
How long data is kept
• Analytics data linked to an app instance ID or advertising ID is kept for 2 months, then only aggregated reports remain.
• Data on your device is kept until you reset progress in Settings, clear the app's data or uninstall the app.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. To ask us about data linked to your device, email us at bidogocizej746@gmail.com. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children
The game's content is suitable for all ages, but the game is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has shared data through the app, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Data sent to Firebase and our routing/analytics bridge server is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. External web content, when opened, is shown in the system browser Custom Tab rather than inside the game WebView.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and publish the new version on this page and in the game.
