SkyU AI Agent is built with a strict No Telemetry policy. We do NOT track, collect, or store your browsing history, personal information, or usage analytics on any of our servers.
3 API Keys
The extension allows you to bring your own API key (e.g., from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google). Your API keys are stored locally on your device using your browser's secure local storage (chrome.storage.local). We do not transmit your API keys to any servers other than the official API providers you choose to interact with.
4 Permissions Usage
To function properly, the extension requires the following permissions:
activeTab / tabs: Used strictly to read the context of the page you are currently viewing so the AI can assist you with page-specific tasks.
- webNavigation: Used to detect page loads and automate tab management as instructed by you.
- storage: Used to save your settings, preferences, and API keys locally on your device.
- Host Permissions: Required to allow the extension's content scripts to run on any page you visit and to communicate directly with various third-party AI APIs.
5 Third-Party Services
When you use SkyU AI Agent to process information, the text from your web pages is sent directly to the third-party AI provider (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) based on the API key you provided. Please refer to the privacy policies of those specific AI providers to understand how they handle your data.
