FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

When are tryouts?

Tryouts begin on Monday, March 9, 2026. Historically, we have not had to cut players so the first week of tryouts is used to determine team placement. 

How do I register for the team?

(1) Complete Skyline Men's Lacrosse roster information form.

(2) Prior to the start of the season, register in Arbiter (managed by the Skyline Athletic Department). Information and the link to register can be found here. Please know that you will need a sports physical dated after April 15, 2025 in order to register and tryout. We encourage you to register well in advance of tryouts to ensure that everything is approved by the Athletic Department before tryouts begin and to avoid last minute issues. If registration is not complete, you will not be allowed to participate in tryouts. Please note that you do not need to pay the Pay to Participate fee since we are a club sport. You will only have to pay the $15 insurance fee through Ann Arbor Rec & Ed.

What if I already registered on Arbiter since my son played a fall and/or winter sport?

You will not have to complete the Arbiter registration again. Please login to your Arbiter account to ensure that you selected "lacrosse" as one of the sports your son will play this year.

What is the schedule during the season?

Our season kicks off on March 9, 2025.  You can expect 2-3 games/week. Most games are on week nights but we could have an occasional Saturday game. Teams practice every weeknight when there is no game. (time TBD).  Please refer to the "Schedule" page which will be updated regularly throughout the season.

Will the school provide transportation to away games?

Generally, a bus will be provided for all away games outside of Washtenaw County. For away games within the County, players will need to get to the games on their own.

I filled out the Skyline Men's Lacrosse roster information form but am not getting the emails?

We use Google Groups to send out emails. Please note that we cannot add AAPS student email addresses to Google Groups so please be sure players include a non-AAPS email address on the roster information form. Also, the first few weeks of being added to the team's Google Group, emails may go to your SPAM or JUNK folders. Please check there and manually designate the email as non-Spam/Junk. It will also help if you add skymenslax@googlegroups.com to your address book.

We rely on parent support in a variety of ways and always need more parent volunteers to fulfill a variety of roles! Please see the "Volunteers" page on this website for more information.
