Breakout Block 1 is from 9:00 am - 9:45 am, Breakout Block 2 is from 10:00 - 11:15, and the Closing Keynote is from 11:30 - 12:30. So you will complete four registrations in the VRC. There is optional independent learning time from 1:00 - 2:00 using the Vision Resource Center.
Register for the Welcome Session
Review the list of workshops and select ONE workshop for each Breakout Block.
When you have decided on your workshops (1 for each Breakout Block), click the "Register" button next to each workshop you plan to attend.
When you click on the "Register" button, you will be directed to the VRC (you may have to sign on to the SMCCD portal - use the same login as your email).
Once you are in the VRC, it will open the workshop you selected. Choose the red "Request" button.
After you register for each workshop, you should receive a confirmation email from the Vision Resource Center with an Outlook invitation for that time. If you don't see the confirmation in your inbox, check your Junk folder. If you don't get the email but show as registered, don't worry, just come to the workshops you are slated to attend.
If you change your mind and want to select a different workshop, that's totally fine. Just go to your Transcript in the VRC and, next to the workshop you no longer wish to attend, just select "Withdraw."
On the day of the event, you can find your Zoom links here on this page.
Optional Independent Learning: There is also space for independent learning after the closing keynote, using the Vision Resource Center. You can choose a training video or asynchronous course if desired.
