Skylarks

Skylarks is a group of singers (Della, Lucy and Maria) who have been singing together and with other groups for many years in the UK and abroad.

At the end of 2022 they decided to band together with Thames Trio to perform a close harmony repertoire of swing and jazz standards. They love to get cosy on stage to accommodate smaller venues such as bars or restaurants, but also enjoy performing in churches and marquees for charity events and fetes.

Our repertoire contains a selection of accompanied and unaccompanied numbers from the Great American Songbook, by such masters as George and Ira Gershwin, Cole Porter, Duke Ellington and Oscar Hammerstein II. Some of our songs have been arranged by Thames Trio's very own Terry Hutchins.
