Sketchbook Idea
Final Facade
I chose to create a bedroom for my dream room. The interior design style that I chose was contemporary/rustic/bohemian. For the walls, I chose a cream/white distressed brick accent wall with the remaining three walls a muted, a medium toned, turquoise. In my space, there would be a built in loft bed with a large desk area underneath. There would also be a tv underneath with a couch or seating. There would also be a mantle with a fireplace on the brick wall. For the fabrics, it would mostly be cream/white to match the brick wall and some will have different tassels and subtle patterns to match the contemporary/bohemian style.

Sketchbook Planning for Kitchen Elevation
For my kitchen, I decided to an open concept kitchen that is medium to small sized. It has an 8 foot tall ceiling. It also has an extended peninsula that provides seating. It has an oven/stove with a hood, many cabinets and drawers, a sink with a window above it, a dishwasher, and a refrigerator.

Design Idea #1
Design Idea #2
I was mostly drawn to bridges that had a specific chosen shape that is repeated, with a larger version of the shape in the middle. I also thought that the ones that had supports throughout the bridge would be more effective.

Before this video, I never really knew what the US Capitol building looked like on the inside. After seeing how beautiful it is, the history behind it, and how much work and care was put into creating this building, it makes me feel upset and I think that it is very disgraceful that people would break into it.

Floor Plan
For my shed, I wanted to create small, simple, and personalized structure that served as a mini art studio. I was inspired by the photos below to make it a small and creative space. I incorporated a rug, a large metal workbench, an easel with stool off to the side, and a large standing lamp. I wanted it to be a simple space so that it could be filled with creative projects.

Finished Project
I chose to do my second design because I thought that with the first design, it would be top heavy and flip over. The egg in the design I chose is going to be at the bottom of the upside down pyramid, with a piece of foam holding it in at the top. I also added an additional mini pyramid at the bottom to decrease the impact on the egg from the fall.
