Bolzano is Skyalps' main hub, located in northern Italy between high mountains at an elevation of 241 meters and features a single asphalt runway which recently got an expansion. It has a scenic and difficult approach and makes landings even harder as the 1.432 meters long runway is too short for most twin jet-engine aircraft which leads to Skyalps only using the Dash 8-Q400 at Bolzano. Skyalps offers year-round connections to major European cities like Berlin, London and Dusseldorf, as well as seasonal routes in summer and winter. The airline focuses on regional tourism and business travel in the South Tyrol region.
Our Virutal Airline offers flights from other Italien regional Airports. There are for example the PSO services from Rome to Crotone and from Ancona to other Italian Cities, such as Milan or Naples. These additions strengthen domestic connectivity and add reliable, year-round operations to our schedule.
In addition, there are charter flights from Bern, Innsbruck, and Brač , enhancing seasonal and regional coverage. With several flights available from each airport, these routes contribute to a more diverse route network and mark another step in the continued development of the virtual airline.
Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina functions as a seasonal hub during the summer schedule. It provides access to the holiday destination and a link to Italy. The airport features a single runway which is 2400 metres long which allows both turboprop and regional jets. The airport is located in a valley with an approach which can be affected and terrain. The airport terminal is modern and can handle a full hand of seasonal flight passengers. Skyalps uses Mostar to serve the demand in the Balkans, often in partnership with tour operators.
