If you want a longer stated battery life and water-resistance details, choose Skullcandy Push True; if you need earbuds with a charging case and a clear 28-hour total-battery figure, choose JVC HAA11T. For video calls, I’d lean toward JVC because its description explicitly includes calls and video calls, while Skullcandy gives you more stated battery life overall.
• Skullcandy Push True’s biggest strength: 12 hours of total battery life, water resistance, and secure FitFin ear gels; its trade-off is that the listed total is shorter than JVC’s case-inclusive figure.
• JVC HAA11T’s biggest strength: up to 28 hours of battery life with the charging case, plus an IPX5 water-resistance rating; its trade-off is that the earbuds themselves are listed for 8 hours.
• Skullcandy Push True suits listeners who value a secure-fitting design, onboard call and volume controls, and a longer stated battery figure without relying on the case.
• JVC HAA11T suits people who want a charging case for extending listening time and earbuds described for calls, videos, gaming, and outdoor activities.
• For video calls: JVC’s use-case description is more explicit, while both models list touch controls and sound isolation.
The Skullcandy Push True is an in-ear Bluetooth earbud with FitFin ear gels, which are designed to help the buds sit securely. That feature makes it a natural fit for someone who wants an in-ear design that feels anchored rather than simply resting in the ear. Skullcandy also lists water resistance, so the model may suit everyday listening when exposure to moisture is a consideration. The data does not specify a water-resistance rating, though, so I would not assume it matches a particular protection level.
Its listed total battery life is 12 hours. That is the figure to focus on when comparing it with JVC, whose longer 28-hour figure includes the charging case. Skullcandy also lists a microphone and call, track, volume, and assistant controls. Those controls give you practical ways to manage a call or adjust playback without reaching for your phone. For a video call, the microphone and call control are relevant conveniences, though the available details do not describe microphone performance or call quality.
This is a reasonable fit for someone who prioritizes a secure earbud design and wants the listed controls close at hand. The stated Bluetooth range is 10 meters, and the product uses Bluetooth wireless connectivity. Its listed sound control is sound isolation, so it is an in-ear option rather than an open or on-ear design. Anyone shopping specifically for foldable in ear earbuds for video calls should note that no folding feature is listed; the practical match here is the in-ear fit, not foldability.

Who should skip it: Skip the Push True if your main priority is a 28-hour case-inclusive battery figure or a stated IPX5 rating.
The JVC HAA11T is also an in-ear Bluetooth model, but its strongest stated battery advantage comes from pairing the earbuds with the charging case. The earbuds are listed for 8 hours, while the case adds 20 hours, for a stated total of 28 hours. That distinction matters. Someone who listens in shorter stretches and can put the buds back in the case between them may find the extra case capacity more useful than the earbuds’ standalone figure suggests. It is not the same comparison as Skullcandy’s listed 12 hours of total battery life.
JVC lists IPX5 waterproofing, giving this model a specific rating where Skullcandy’s sheet only says water resistant. The product description also names running, hiking, biking, outdoor activities, phone calls, movies, videos, gaming, and video calls as intended uses. That makes JVC the more directly documented choice for a shopper searching for earbuds for video calls. It has touch controls and sound isolation, and its stated Bluetooth range is 10 meters. The listed Bluetooth version is 5.
The HAA11T’s rounded-tip in-ear shape and charging case make it a practical option for someone who wants a compact listening setup that can be stored and recharged between sessions. Its listed frequency range is 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, but that specification alone cannot tell you how the earbuds will sound in your ears. Likewise, the available product information does not give a microphone-quality measure. JVC may be the more clearly described call-use option, but the sheet does not establish that its call performance is superior.
Who should skip it: Skip the HAA11T if you need the longest listed single-session earbud battery figure; its earbuds are specified for 8 hours, excluding the case.
• More stated battery time including a case → JVC HAA11T. Its listed total is 28 hours: 8 hours from the earbuds and 20 more from the case.
• A longer listed total without relying on a case-inclusive figure → Skullcandy Push True. Its stated total battery life is 12 hours, though the information does not break that total into separate earbud and case figures.
• A specific water-resistance rating → JVC HAA11T. It is listed as IPX5 waterproof. Skullcandy is described as water resistant, but no rating is supplied.
• A secure-fit feature called out by name → Skullcandy Push True. Its FitFin ear gels are intended to help hold the earbuds securely.
• Calls and video calls named among the intended uses → JVC HAA11T. Its description explicitly includes phone calls and video calls with friends.
• Listed call, track, volume, and assistant controls → Skullcandy Push True. The product information specifically names each of these functions.
• An in-ear option for outdoor activities named in the description → JVC HAA11T. Running, hiking, and biking are among its stated use cases.
• A shopper searching for on ear headphones for video calls → Neither is an on-ear model. Both are described as in-ear earbuds, so shoppers who specifically want an on-ear fit should look at a different category.
I would choose the JVC HAA11T for video calls because its product description explicitly includes calls and video calls, and its charging case brings the stated battery total to 28 hours. That makes it the clearer match for someone who wants earbuds for both listening and regular calls. I would pick Skullcandy instead if the secure FitFin design, 12-hour total figure, and named call and volume controls matter more. My recommendation is JVC, with the caveat that its earbuds alone are listed for 8 hours.
Before choosing, decide how you will use the battery figures. JVC separates its 8-hour earbud life from the case’s additional 20 hours. Skullcandy lists 12 hours of total battery life, without the same breakdown in the provided details. If you often return earbuds to their case between calls or listening sessions, JVC’s case capacity may fit that routine. If you prefer to compare a single stated total, the Skullcandy figure is more straightforward, but the product information does not say how that total is divided.
Think about water exposure, too. JVC gives a specific IPX5 rating, while Skullcandy is only described as water resistant. That makes JVC’s protection level easier to identify from the available information. Neither specification should be stretched into a promise about every situation; the supplied details do not provide further usage limits.
Fit and controls can be deciding factors in everyday use. Skullcandy names its FitFin ear gels and lists call, track, volume, and assistant controls. JVC lists touch controls but does not specify the same set of functions. Both are in-ear models with sound isolation, so neither is an on-ear alternative. If you arrived searching for the best usb c charging kids headphones for video calls, the listed details do not establish that either model is made for children or uses USB-C charging. The data identifies both as adult earbuds and does not specify a charging connector.
Finally, keep the call-use claim in proportion. JVC’s description makes video calls an explicit use case, and Skullcandy lists a microphone with call controls. Neither sheet gives microphone tests, noise-cancellation details, or a measured call-quality comparison. For a purchase decision, the facts support JVC as the more directly described video-call pick, not as a proven microphone-performance winner.
JVC lists 28 hours with its charging case: 8 hours from the earbuds and 20 hours from the case. Skullcandy lists 12 hours of total battery life, without a separate breakdown in the provided details.
JVC’s description specifically includes video calls and phone calls. Skullcandy lists a microphone and call controls, but its provided description does not name video calls as an intended use.
JVC is listed as IPX5 waterproof. Skullcandy is described as water resistant, but no rating is given in its product information.
No. Both are described as in-ear earbuds, and neither data sheet lists a folding feature. Shoppers who specifically want on ear headphones for video calls or foldable earbuds should look for a different design.
