If you want a sweatproof bluetooth headset for workout that stays put with massive battery life and a rugged, colorful design, choose Skullcandy Push True; if you need advanced noise cancellation, superior call clarity, and a sleek, ultra-lightweight fit for daily immersion, choose MOTION SAMSUNG Galaxy Buds2.
• Skullcandy Push True: Its biggest strength is the 12-hour total battery life and secure FitFin ear gels designed for intense movement; its trade-off is the lack of active noise cancellation technology.
• MOTION SAMSUNG Galaxy Buds2: It excels with Active Noise Cancellation to block distractions and a lightweight oval design for all-day comfort; however, it offers only 5 hours of continuous listening time per charge.
• The Skullcandy is the clear choice for athletes prioritizing endurance and stability during long sessions.
• The Samsung is the better pick for commuters or office workers who need to tune out the world while maintaining crystal-clear voice calls.
The Skullcandy Push True is built for people who treat their audio gear as part of their active lifestyle. If you are looking for the best bluetooth earbuds for workout, this model stands out immediately because of its physical design. The inclusion of Secure FitFin ear gels suggests a mechanical solution to keeping the buds in place, which is crucial when you are running, jumping, or lifting heavy weights. Unlike standard earbuds that rely solely on friction, these fins provide a locking mechanism that adapts to the unique contours of your ear canal, ensuring they do not fall out even during high-intensity intervals.
Battery anxiety is a real problem for anyone spending hours away from home, and this is where the Push True shines. With a stated total battery life of 12 hours, you can easily power through a full day of commuting, work, and gym time without needing to hunt for an outlet. This longevity is supported by Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, which ensures a stable connection up to 10 meters away. You won't be tethered to your phone while moving around a large gym or park. The water-resistant rating adds another layer of peace of mind, making them a viable sweat resistant true wireless earbuds for workout scenarios where moisture is inevitable.

However, this product is not for everyone. If your primary goal is silent meditation or blocking out a noisy subway, the Push True falls short. It relies on sound isolation rather than active noise cancellation. This means it physically blocks some external noise but does not electronically cancel out engine hums or chatter. Additionally, the enclosure material is plastic and silicone, which feels durable but lacks the premium polish of higher-end metal or glass composites. If you prioritize style over pure function or need the absolute quietest environment possible, you might find the trade-offs here too significant.
The MOTION SAMSUNG Galaxy Buds2 targets a different user entirely: the person who values immersion and clarity above raw endurance. These earbuds are engineered for those who need to disconnect from their surroundings completely. The standout feature here is Active Noise Cancellation, which actively identifies and neutralizes steady, low-frequency background noises like engine hums or office HVAC systems. This makes them an excellent companion for travel or working in open-plan offices where silence is a luxury. When you need to stay aware of your environment, the Ambient Sound mode offers three adjustable levels, allowing you to hear traffic or conversations without removing the earbuds.
Audio quality is another pillar for this device. Equipped with two-way dynamic speakers, the Galaxy Buds2 deliver a balanced sound profile with powerful bass and clear treble. The frequency response ranges from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, covering the full spectrum of human hearing. For calls, the three built-in microphones with advanced noise reduction ensure that your voice comes through crisply, even in windy or noisy conditions. The design philosophy here is minimalism; the buds are 10% smaller and lighter than their predecessor, crafted from polycarbonate to feel almost weightless (5 grams) in the ear. This compact form factor makes them ideal for extended wear without fatigue.
Despite these strengths, there are limitations you must accept. The battery life is significantly shorter than the Skullcandy alternative, offering only 5 hours of average life per charge. While the charging case extends this, you will likely need to recharge mid-day if you are on the move for more than a few hours. Furthermore, this specific unit is an International Version, meaning it does not carry a manufacturer's warranty from Samsung USA, which could be a concern for some buyers regarding long-term support. If you are a marathon runner or someone who needs audio for 8+ hours straight without stopping, the battery constraint might be a dealbreaker compared to the competition.

In my opinion, if I had to pick one pair of earbuds specifically for workout purposes, I would buy the Skullcandy Push True. The combination of 12 hours of battery life and the Secure FitFin ear gels addresses the two most critical failure points for athletic headphones: running out of power and falling out of your ears. While the Samsung offers impressive noise cancellation, the sheer endurance and physical security of the Skullcandy make it the more reliable tool for an active life. However, if your "workout" involves mostly yoga or light stretching and you spend the rest of your day in noisy offices, the Samsung's superior noise control might outweigh the battery difference. But for the general athlete, the Push True is the safer, more robust bet.
They are designed to handle the moisture generated during exercise without failing.
Absolutely. They feature Active Noise Cancellation to block unwanted ambient sounds, along with an Ambient Sound mode that lets you hear your surroundings with three adjustable levels.
The Skullcandy Push True offers a total battery life of 12 hours, whereas the MOTION SAMSUNG Galaxy Buds2 provides 5 hours of average life per charge before needing to return to the case.
The MOTION SAMSUNG Galaxy Buds2 likely wins this category due to having three built-in microphones with advanced noise reduction, compared to the single microphone setup on the Skullcandy model.
