Sankalp Phadnis
Sankalp is a fifth-year undergraduate studying at the Department of Engineering Design at IIT Madras. By virtue of his Dual Degree program, he is pursuing Energy Systems as his MTech specialisation. Enjoying an inter-disciplinary background, Sankalp has worked on various projects with organisations like Siemens, Colgate-Palmolive & Technical University of Munich. To build upon his interests in Energy Economics & Sustainability, he is currently working on assessing the impact of COVID-19 on the Energy Sector of India as his Master's Thesis.
Athul Muraleedharan
Athul is a fifth year undergraduate at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT Madras. He is doing his major in Development Studies and minor in Economics. Athul's work experience includes interning at organisations like Hansa Cequity, The Hindu, and Qrius (formerly the Indian Economist). He has published an article on market behaviour titled 'Middle in a Muddle' that has been instrumental to frame client consulting strategies at Hansa Cequity. Three of his stories capturing urban development, market expansion, and ethnic marketing were published in 'The Hindu' national daily. Athul's master's dissertation focuses on the change in parent's perception about their children's mobile and internet usage pattern before and after the COVID crisis. He attempts to associate the change with increased reliance on online education and work from home techniques and investigate the implications of the same.
Dheerendra Mishra
Dheerendra is pursuing MS (research) from department of Applied Mechanics and Humanities & Social Sciences. His works in the areas of energy economics. He completed B. Tech. in Manufacturing Technology from AKTU in 2016. He has cleared GATE in Mechanical Engineering as the subject. His interest outside research lies in Spirituality and Hindi Poetry.
