I graduated from Banaras Hindu University (BHU) in 2009 with Chemistry (Honors) and post-graduated in 2011 with Organic Chemistry (Specialization). After qualifying for CSIR-JRF, I joined Ph.D. in 2011 under the supervision of Prof. Ashish Kumar Tewari at the Department of Chemistry, Institute of Science, BHU. In my Ph.D. tenure, I explored physical organic chemistry, including the experimental, computational, and crystallographic domains of drug discovery. I moved to CSIR-NCL in 2017 as a National Post-doctoral Fellow and joined the research group of Prof. Ashwini Kumar Nangia (Director of NCL from 2016 to 2020). At NCL my research was focused on pharmaceutical solid form screening to improve the physicochemical properties of APIs. After completing two years of tenure at CSIR-NCL, I moved to TIFR, Hyderabad in 2019 and, joined the research group of Dr. Vipin Agarwal where my research theme was to characterize the pharmaceutical solid forms using solid-state NMR. Subsequently, I have worked in Aragen Life Science (Discovery Division), Sai Life Sciences (Particle Science and Engineering Department), and Mankind Pharma (New Drug Discovery Research Center).
