Most students of mathematics from colleges and rural areas find it very difficult to clear NET-JRF examination in mathematics.
The main reason for this is the lack of proper understanding of the basic concepts.
Therefore students should enhance their understanding of basic concepts of Group Theory, Ring Theory, Field Theory, Linear Algebra, Matrix Theory, Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations, Real Analysis, Complex Analysis and Topology etc.
These are major branches of mathematics which play key role for qualifying such examinations.
This author has written some books (Concepts of Modern Algebra: Groups; Concepts of Modern Algebra: Rings, etc.) with emphasis to explore the underlying concepts of the subject. In addition these books contain several objective questions. Hopefully these books will be of great use for CSIR-UGC NET-JRF and allied examinations.
