Associate Professor - E
I work in the field of experimental nuclear physics and nuclear astrophysics. My research focuses on studying nuclear reactions with astrophysical significance at accelerator facilities around the world. At present, I am an associate professor at the Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics (SINP), Kolkata.
Before joining SINP, I did my postdoctoral research in the USA. I was as a postdoctoral research associate at the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB), Michigan State University, in the Charge-Exchange group and at the Cyclotron Institute, Texas A&M University, working with the low-energy experimental nuclear physics and nuclear astrophysics group. I completed my Ph.D. at Bose Institute, Kolkata, working with the Nuclear Astrophysics group, my thesis experiments were performed at ISOLDE, CERN.
