Functional Materials Laboratory

KIM's CLUB

Research interests of our group, Functional Materials Laboratory (FML), are various aspects of science and technology, ranging from fundamental research to possible industrial applications. Our researchers are focused on design and synthesis of noble nanoporous materials, especially mesoporous materials, and nano-structured materials such as nanoparticles and nanowires.

  • Dr. Guanghai Piao, Dr. Hyeonsu Heo, Hyeong-Woo Kim and Sujin Lee have recieved their Ph.D and Mater Degrees at February 25, 2026, respectively. Congratulations!! 

  • Hansol Kim (김한솔) won the Excellent Paper Award at the BK-21 Symposium of Department of Chemistry. Eunsaem Song (송은샘) and Soohyun Kim (김수현) also won the Best Poster Presentation Award at the Symposium. Congratulations!

  • After serving as a Research Professor from Mar 2023 to Jan 2026, Dr. Ravindra N. Bulakhe has been appointed as Professor and Head of SCNN at Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune, India effective Feb 01, 2026. Congratulations to him on this new appointment. His new email address is ravindra.bulakhe@scnn.edu.in. 

  • Gyeongmin Youm (염경민) has been finally accepted to the BTSS (Battery Track SKKU-Samsung SDI). He will receive the Samsung SDI Scholarship during the master course, and the employment is guaranteed after graduation.
