I'm sure I used to be able to remove parts of a line for example in the old skitch, but can't find an eraser tool anywhere. I want to make a dashed line, but I can't see an option to create a dashed line, and now I can't find a way to remove parts of a solid line to make it dashed.

Anyway, came to say the same thing that Chip mentioned. I REALLY REALLY miss that old version of skitch, but it did not work anymore when I changed my Mac, so had to update. I used it a lot by adding a white space where I could write comments to my designer.. Took a screenshot of the file, added white by dragging the corners, wrote text on the white part with fleshes pointed at the places I wanted to be changed, and sent to her. Now there is no such possiblity, so I really cannot use it anymore the way I used it.

I am sure all the people who used it before, have found this very useful. Almost gave up writing this comment, cause needed to sign in, get a new name (first one was used by someone, etc)... Anyway, feel it is important to let you guys know. For me that was very important, actually the most important part of the skitch..

1) Couldn't sign in to skitch/evernote (it would always crash apparently because my new computer wasn't named in the sharing folder in preferences). C'mon Skitch! That shouldn't still be an issue. Fix it.

3) The infinite canvas feature was taken away. Why on earth would you take away one of the most important features for product managers and web designers? Just really strange product management going on over there. This is fine if it were a normal enterprise product but skitch was loved because it was so thoughtfully designed to be simple and intuitive. Now it's hardly.

The lack of this feature is effectively a showstopper for me and has been for years. As other tools in OSX and iOS get better at the features that evernote and skitch already have, I'm using them less and less. Features like this get asked for, get needed, get ignored, whilst features that I never use and never forsee myself using get added instead. If it's not there after the next update, it'll be time to uninstall.

- There is a background process, "J8RPQ294UB.com.skitch.SkitchHelper" - you used to have to allow list this in order for Skitch to work properly. This doesn't seem to be the case anymore. Make sure any references to it in Privacy & Security are removed.

Turns out it was another item in the Security & Privacy, Screen Recording pane. An unchecked item I've never noticed was there: j8rpq294ub.com.skitch.skitchhelper. Don't know where that came from and why it wasn't already checked, but checking it allowed Skitch to work again.

In Skitch, kids can add shapes or text to a photo or write a note by hand on a blank screen. Kids can highlight or annotate maps powered by Google Maps. They can also mark up a screenshot of a website. Kids can pixilate parts of photos for privacy. Skitch users need an Evernote account to save their skitches and can share them by email via the Skitch app or by text and social media via the Evernote app or website. Skitch creations can be accessed on any mobile device or the Web from the user's Evernote account.

The Highway Cruiser: Fear not; just add road tires (or don't), and you've got a new go-to companion for exploring new roads. The geometry of the skitch will feel familiar enough to inspire confidence on the road or trail alike, so anyone looking for that extra gear in a headwind can rest easy knowing that the Skitch has your back.

Is skitch not working on your mac? Skitch is one of our favourite tools here at Tribalism... except when it crashed on every mac update. For the latest Big Sur May 2021 update see how to get it working again here...

Most "tutorials" you'll find claiming to fix skitch not working on mac issues are just glorified fluff pieces or that dont deal wit hthe issue at all - or are an annoying series of random forums posts on either apple support or - more annoyingly (because you need to create an account and login first to even read) - Evernote forums - yeah Skitch is owned by Evernote... who knew? For some reason everytime Mac OS updates - any app (well mainly Skitch it seems like) that usese "screen recording" loses the plot... Skitch will only start recording the background

Let me know how you make out, Doug. I was using that technique yesterday here on the Kootenai and we did a half mile test run between the back and front of the boat. Angler in back was skitching and angler in front was not. We moved seven fish total. Back of boat got 5! Clearly about movement yesterday. Tomorrow, who knows? e24fc04721
