SkinX – Skincare AI (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application and related services (collectively, the “App”).
By using SkinX, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

Images: Photos you capture or upload for AI skin analysis.

We use trusted third-party providers (e.g., App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat) to process payments. We do not store your credit card details.
Facial Landmark Data: Limited points such as contours, nose, and eyes may be detected locally on your device to provide alignment guidance and gamification features.
Photos: If you take or upload a selfie for analysis, the photo is securely transmitted to our AI provider (Google Gemini) to assess skin health indicators (e.g., acne, dryness, redness).
Important: We do not collect or use biometric identifiers for authentication (e.g., Face ID templates).
We use your information to:
Provide AI-based skincare analysis and personalized recommendations.
Display gamified overlays using facial landmarks for a better user experience.
Improve and enhance the App’s features and performance.
Manage your account, including subscriptions and purchases.
Communicate with you about updates, new features, and promotional offers.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with:
AI Processing: Captured photos may be securely transmitted to Google Gemini AI for skin analysis. Facial landmarks (contours, eyes, nose) are processed locally and not shared.
Legal Requirements: When required to comply with law, regulation, or legal process.
Business Transfers: In case of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Photos: Stored temporarily for analysis. If you save a scan in your Skin Journal, the photo will be retained until you delete it.
Facial Landmark Data: Processed in real time on your device and not retained after the session.
Analysis Results: Retained as long as you keep your account or until you delete the entry.
Other Personal Data: Retained as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law.
We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption and restricted access. However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
Access, update, or delete your personal information.
Withdraw consent to processing.
Request data portability.
