About me
I am a natural scientist interested in understanding past changes in various environmental conditions by analyzing inorganic and organic materials preserved in sediments. Scientists like me are called paleoclimatologists or paleoecologists.
I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Lamp-Seed Research Center, Pukyung National University, Busan, South Korea (Postdoc mentor: Ryu Junghyung, PI of DYNA SEP Lab).
I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Anthropocene Studies, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, South Korea (Postdoc host: Buhm Soon Park).
I earned my PhD in August 2021 from the Department of Botany (Track: Ecology) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, WI, USA (PhD advisor: Sara C. Hotchkiss).
I was a research/teaching assistant in the Center for Climatic Research & the Department of Botany at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
