PAWE MV Tech Crazz is an outreach program of skill training for seniors community.

Under a series of our PAWE MV Tech Crazz, we provide two main trainings to the seniors in Malaysia.

1) Waste to Craft training :

This training is to train the seniors to use unused item such as plastic bottle, straws or paper, and turn them into useful items or craft that can eventually sell in the market.

• We collect used household items and recycling items such as plastics, paper, clothes, aluminium, glasses and turn them into beautiful craft like bag, household ornaments, stationery and so forth .
• PAWE MV Tech Crazz team will provide the 'waste to craft' training to the senior citizens in a series of training.
• Throughout the training, the senior citizens will learn the waste to craft skills by increasing their memory and problem-solving skills. When the seniors are happy and enjoy doing such craft, this indirectly helps them to reduce any dementia or memory loss risk.
• The expected output will be the beautiful craft and the seniors will be taught how to upload to an online e-Commerce platform for promotion and selling. They will also be encouraged to share it online with others for competition or showcase purpose.
• The ultimate goal is to transfer the waste to craft skills to senior citizens, and help them to age gracefully and obtain financial independence.

2) ICT for Digital transformation Training:

This training is to train the seniors to be more competent and kept them abreast with the latest technology, especially with mobile technologies and apps.

• Example of using mobile apps, all online platform tools, social media (YouTube, Facebook) digital marketing and solving their problems with current technologies, 3D printing.

Why people should invest on us?

1. PAWE MV Tech Crazz is an outreach program to reach out to the senior citizens for the benefit of skill set retraining and connect them with the community and society with technical know-how and other essential knowledge.
2. We have Lecturer, students and experts from Multimedia University to provide skills training to the seniors.
3. We have the strategies and methodologies to conduct training for the seniors community.
4. We also understand the needs of the seniors from our PAWE (Pusat Activity Warga Emas/Senior Citizens Activity Centre) members and other senior centres.

Proposed Expenses

An estimated Expenses for the training, space rental and tools.

• Cost (We need to facilitate the training) - RM 1000 for 2 (trainings)
  • Trainers and token of appreciation (certs and prizes - hamper for participants) - (RM2 x 50 + hamper RM150 x 3 + prize money RM 500)
  • Material for training, (scissors, glue and rulers for crafting) - (RM10 x 50)
  • Mini Tripod for smartphone recording (RM 10 x 50)
• Utilities, food - RM 1000 x 2 days (50 -100 PAWE members)
  • Lunch RM 500 x 2 days
  • Tea break RM 500 x 2 days
• Shredder (for waste to craft training) - RM 500 x 4 pax
• Rental of services and tools - settings - RM 2000 x 2 days (2 trainings)
• Location (we first focus at PAWE, Putrajaya)
• Labour fees - logistic fees - RM 500 x 2 days

We plan to reach out to 200 senior citizens (100 seniors x 2 training sessions) at PAWE. It is estimated we need RM 17000 for a total expenses for the two trainings.
