Overview
Skill++ is a personal self-improvement app that lets users write short activity records and receive EXP across six skills.
At this time, Skill++ is designed to work locally on the device.
Data We Process
Skill++ may process the following information on the device:
Activity records written by the user
Skill progress data such as EXP, levels, and record history
Lightweight personalization data used to improve local scoring behavior
How Data Is Used
This data is used to:
score user-written records
award EXP and update skill levels
show record history and progress inside the app
improve local, on-device scoring context for the user
Data Sharing
Skill++ does not sell user data.
Skill++ does not share user-written records or skill history with third parties for advertising or marketing.
Data Storage
User data is currently stored locally on the device for app functionality.
Data Retention
Skill++ is designed to be an offline-first application. User records, statistics, and other app data are stored locally on the user's device unless otherwise stated. User data is retained for as long as the app remains installed or unless the user manually deletes all of its recorded data in the app. Skill++ does not automatically delete user records after a specific period.
Deleting Your Data
Users may delete their data at any time by:
Uninstalling the Skill++ application from their device.
Pressing the Reset All button in the settings of Skill++.
Clearing the application's storage through their device's system settings.
Once deleted, the data cannot be recovered.
Skill++ does not maintain remote copies of user records or personal data, and deleted data is permanently removed from the device.
Accounts
Skill++ does not currently require account creation to use the core app.
Ads
Skill++ does not currently serve third-party ads.
Children
Skill++ is not directed toward children under 13.
Security
We aim to keep data collection minimal and keep core app functionality local to the device whenever possible. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we try to keep the app architecture simple and privacy-conscious.
Changes
This policy may be updated as the app changes. If data practices materially change, this policy should be updated before release.
