Privacy policy

SkillNJob (“the App”) is provided by an individual developer, Manjunath reddy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used and shared, and your choices.

Non-affiliation disclaimer
SkillNJob is not a government app and is not affiliated with any government entity. The App aggregates publicly available listings and links you to the official website for each post so you can verify details there.

1. Information I collect
   The App does not require you to create an account. The App does not intentionally collect sensitive personal data (such as financial, health, or precise location data).
   
   

a) Device and app information (non-personal): device model, operating system version, app version, preferred language/region, basic crash and diagnostic data, and network status (online/offline). This helps keep the App working securely and troubleshoot issues.

b) Usage data (non-personal): aggregated events such as screens viewed and basic interaction metrics used to improve performance and user experience.

c) Advertising identifiers: my advertising partner (for example, Google AdMob) may collect the device’s mobile Advertising ID and related device signals to show and measure ads. You can reset or limit the Advertising ID in Android settings.

d) Push notifications (optional): if you opt in, the App generates a device token (for example, via Firebase Cloud Messaging) to deliver notifications. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

e) Support communications (optional): if you contact me by email, I receive your email address and the content of your message to help you.

2. How I use information
   • Operate and improve core features (browse categories, open official links).
   • Diagnose crashes and bugs, protect the App from abuse, and ensure reliability.
   • Deliver and measure advertising (non-personalized or, where available and consented, personalized).
   • Send notifications you have enabled.
   • Respond to your support requests.
   
   

3. Sharing and third parties
   I do not sell your personal information. I share limited data with service providers that help operate the App, subject to their own privacy terms:
   
   

• Google Firebase (Core, Cloud Messaging, Dynamic Links): app infrastructure, notifications, and deep links.
• Google AdMob: serving and measuring advertising (may use the Advertising ID).
• Supabase: hosting/database for app content.

4. Links to official websites and other third-party sites
   Posts in the App contain links to official websites (for example, government portals, university pages, company career sites). When you open those links you are subject to the external site’s privacy policy and terms. I do not control or guarantee third-party content.
   
   

5. Data retention
   Diagnostic and aggregated usage data are retained only as long as needed for the purposes described above, after which they are aggregated or deleted. Support emails are kept as long as necessary to resolve your request and to meet legal/accounting obligations.
   
   

6. Your choices and rights
   • Advertising and tracking: reset or limit the Advertising ID and, where available, turn off ad personalization in Android settings.
   • Notifications: enable or disable app notifications in device settings.
   • Data requests: you can request deletion of support communications you sent by contacting me at collabwithmanju@gmail.com.
   
   

7. Security
   I use industry-standard safeguards (such as TLS encryption in transit) to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but I work to protect your information.
   
   

8. Children
   The App is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided me information, contact me and I will delete it.
   
   

9. International transfers
   Service providers may process data on servers outside your country. By using the App, you consent to such transfers as permitted by law.
   
   

10. Legal bases for users in the EEA/UK (if applicable)
    I process non-personal data to pursue legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the App. Where required, I rely on your consent (for example, for personalized advertising and notifications). You can withdraw consent at any time in the relevant settings.
    
    

11. Changes to this Policy
    I may update this Policy from time to time. I will post the updated version here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
