CEO Viktor Skildal and CO-CEO Rasmus JP likes to talk for hours. We're considering starting a podcast, where we'll just yap for 2-3 hours an episode.
We are contemplating the transformation of Skildal Movies, currently a movie database platform, into a licensed streaming service for films and television shows. This new website would allow users to enjoy content produced by Skildal Studios, as well as other licensed productions created by our esteemed clients, partners, and potentially even our dedicated fans.
While the concept of maintaining a movie database site remains under evaluation, further details regarding our overarching vision for this initiative are provided below.
Skildal Industries is considering two options for a movie database site similar to TMDB or IMDb.
SMDB (Skildal Movies Database):
This concept aims to create a website akin to TMDB, IMDb, and the original Skildal Movies, but on a larger scale. Currently, Skildal Movies, like all our sites, is built on Google Sites, which limits data capacity and causes lag, even with a single device. To implement this idea, we need to explore a more robust system and possibly an API for easier management.
TSDB (The Skildal Database):
TSDB would expand SMDB to include information on movies, TV shows, games, music, and more. This expansion presents challenges in finding a system capable of managing such extensive data. Before researching potential systems, we must decide whether to proceed with SMDB or TSDB.
We are contemplating the establishment of a new company under Skildal Industries, named Skildal Graphics. As suggested by its name, this company will specialize in graphic design and will collaborate with our existing companies to produce visual content such as posters for Skildal Studios and character designs for Skildal Games, among other projects.
Skildal Industries is exploring the possibility of establishing an E-Sports team. While this is currently a preliminary concept, we aim to form teams for various games based on their popularity within the company. At present, we are considering the following games: Fortnite, Counter-Strike 2, Marvel Rivals, Rocket League, GeoGuessr, and Starcraft II.
